We are excited to offer a superior set of Commercial bred heifers. They are sourced in two ways. First, we sort through 750 of our own ranch-raised heifer calves. Then we augment them with quality replacement heifers purchased from our bull customers and other top producers in our area. This year we were fortunate enough to be able to buy heifers from the Cline Family, Dunlap, IA; the Doncheski Family, Dunlap, IA; Brent Potter, Griswold, IA; Kayton Cattle, Albion, NE; RB Angus, Newman Grove, NE; Wagner Land and Cattle, Petersburg, NE; Travis Patrick, Bartlett, NE and Shavlik Ranch, Bartlett, NE. These heifers have had the same extensive vaccination and mineral program as our own heifers. Dr. Haley Brethauer, MC Veterinary Services in Ericson NE, ultra-sounded these females for pregnancy and due dates. They will be running on corns stalks and pasture prior to the sale and will be reconfirmed for pregnancy before loading. The offering has had one round of Scourguard 4KC at pregnancy check but will need a booster within six weeks of calving.

Purple tag heifers are all black or black white face heifers due February 1 to WAR Pywt’s Warwagon D502, the $37,000 top selling bull in our 2018 sale, who has produced over $250,000 in progeny sales for us. He is pictured below along with his mother who has over $150,000 in progeny sales for us. There are 190 of these heifers to pick from. Green tag heifers are all black and black white face due February 27-March 10th to Wagonhammer calving ease Angus bulls. There are 60 head to choose from.
Gray and Orange tag heifers are black, black white face, gray and red due March 11-25 to Wagonhammer calving ease Angus bulls.
Yellow tag heifers are due March 25-April 10th to Wagonhammer calving ease Angus bulls
Pink and Red tag heifers are due April 10-25th to Wagonhammer calving ease Angus bulls.
